South Saluda River Clean Up Information
Mike Harvell requests your help.

We will be cleaning up the roadside along the South Saluda River at the "Rock Vanes" ...and the Adopt-A-Mile clean up of the Highway 11/276 right-of-way two mile stretch adjacent to the Rock Vane area. After the cleanup, some of the crew will fish the Rock Vane area of the stream.

We will begin at 9:00 am and it should only take 1 to 1.5 hours to complete the clean up. This trash can eventually wash into the river! It has been awhile since our last cleanup so we will need all the help we can get. THANKS

Bring gloves and FACE MASKS and come join us for this worthwhile effort! MBTU will provide, orange safety vests, trash bags and pinchers.

If it is raining the morning of the 14th we will reschedule the cleanup. An alert email will be sent out with a new date.
