MBTU First Annual “One Fly” Tournament

         SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2023

 Entry is in teams of two.  To enter, contact Paul Glasser by email or phone (See below) with anglers’ names.Entry fee is $35 per angler.  Fee may be paid by cash, check or PayPal at mountainbridgetu@gmail.com.  Checks should be made out to MBTU and can be mailed to Paul Glasser or Tim Brandt if you are not attending a monthly meeting.Teams sign in at Davidson River Outfitters parking lot at 7am.  Each angler team will fill out a sign in sheet and declare their choice of fly.  Each angler will be given a tape.  All anglers will leave the lot at 7:45 am.The rules are as follows:

• Any non-private water in North or South Carolina may be fished.

• Qualifying fish must be trout only but of any species.

• Fish must be photographed against the tape provided to the nearest    1/8 inch.

• Once the angler’s chosen fly is lost, that angler may no longer fish for       tournament eligible fish.

•  Fly may be repaired only, not replaced.

All anglers must return to ECUSTA Brewing Company, 451 Ecusta Rd., Brevard, NC 28712 at 4:45 to submit photos. The largest fish will win the tournament. In the event of a tie, we will declare multiple winners.
