Our Speaker for April 15th will be Rebecca Wade from Upstate Forever.
Rebecca Wade received a Bachelor of Science from Furman University and a Masters in Natural Science and Environmental Education from Hamline University. Rebecca joined Upstate Forever's Clean Water Program in 2021. In her role, she engages in water advocacy at both the local and state levels and works as a watershed scientist helping to mitigate pollution in waterways across the Upstate region. Some of Rebecca's favorite parts of her role are assisting agricultural landowners with the installation of water quality improvement projects, serving on the Saluda River Basin Council to plan for water availability for the next 50 years, and working collaboratively with other organizations across the Upstate to protect water quality and water quantity.
